Anatomy and Ashtanga Workshop with David Kiel - Appropriate for all levels of practice
David Keil is an Ashtanga practitioner who has traveled the world teaching his Yoganatomy Workshops to teachers and students. He is a direct student of Sri K. Pattabhi Jois, the "Guru" of Ashtanga Yoga and his grandson R. Sharath in Mysore, India. David is authorized by the Ashtanga Yoga Research Institute to teach this method of practice.
All sessions with David Keil are free for Bliss Yoga 200 Hour Teacher Training participants.

9:00 am–12:00 pm: Exploring The Leg (Fee for this session only is $40.00)
Exploring the kinetic chain and correct functioning of the ankle, knee and hip.
1:30–4:30 pm: Psoas & Spine (Fee for this session only is $40.00)
Observe connections between the pelvis, sacro-iliac joint and how all of these come together in yoga practice. We’ll explore the spine and the importance of the psoas muscle.

12:30-3:00 pm: Breath & Arms (Fee for this session only is $40.00)
We'll explore our own breathing mechanism and how the shoulder and arms are structured and how they facilitate hand movement.
It is recommended to register for the full weekend. If you can only attend a few sessions, we recommend doing the Saturday Sessions and Friday together. This teacher training is open to any student wanting a deeper understanding of the science of Yoga. Class hours exceed Yoga Alliance RYT standards. This teacher training is taught by instructors with a combined 40 years of Yoga practice and teaching!
